Ingredients

  • 4 c. red raspberries
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Boil sugar and water together until syrup threads form.
  2. Wash and drain berries; crush and measure.
  3. Add berries to the syrup; cook rapidly while stirring for 20 minutes, until the mixture has thickened.
  4. Pour hot jam into sterilized jars and allow to cool.
  5. Seal the jars with paraffin to preserve.
