Easy Short Ribs

- Turn oven to 250°.
- Peel carrots and cut in half, lengthwise. Peel onions and cut in thick slices.
- On about 3 thicknesses of heavy-duty foil, layer short ribs between vegetables and sprinkle onion soup mix over all. Seal tightly.
- Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 3 to 4 hours. Turn oven off until ready to eat after 4 hours and never open the oven until done.
