Egg, Dried Beef Casserole

Ingredients

  • 5 slices buttered bread, cubed
  • 1/4 lb. dried beef
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Butter large 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
  2. Cover bottom with slightly over 1/2 bread cubes.
  3. Add layer of dried beef, torn into bits, layer of grated cheese and repeat.
  4. Beat eggs; add milk to eggs and pour over bread, beef, cheese mixture.
  5. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
