Ingredients

  • 5 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. shortening
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • cold water

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, sift flour, sugar and salt.
  2. Add shortening. Beat egg in a 1-cup measuring cup and finish filling with cold water.
  3. You can use blender or knife, but works better to use your hands.
