- Thaw the bread dough according to package directions and cut into 12 pieces.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out each piece into an oval about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook 1 or 2 bread pieces at a time in the hot oil for 45 to 60 seconds per side, or until the dough is browned.
- Remove the fried bread ears with tongs and drain on paper towels.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the hot fried ears.
