Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced pineapple tidbits, well drained
  • 1 cup sliced peaches, drained and cut in half
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 ounces brandy, rum or bourbon
  • 2 oz. brandy, rum or bourbon

Instructions

  1. Mix the pineapple, 1 cup sugar, and alcohol in a one-gallon crock, apothecary jar, or other wide-mouth container.
  2. Cover loosely and place in a cool spot.
  3. Do not refrigerate and do not cover tightly.
  4. Gases from the fermentation could cause an accident. Stir lightly once or twice a week.
