Fig-Berry Jam

A luscious fig-berry jam blending ripe figs with sweet strawberries and gelatin, perfect for spreading on toast or serving with cheeses, ideal for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups ripe figs
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 (3 oz.) packages strawberry gelatin

Instructions

  1. Wash figs and dry well.
  2. Put figs through a food chopper, using the coarse blade, then measure.
  3. Mix chopped figs, sugar, and strawberry gelatin together in a saucepan.
  4. Cook until thick, about 45 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Pour into jars and seal.
