Ingredients

  • 2 (11 oz.) pkg. refrigerated French loaves
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
  • 1/4 c. dried minced onion

Instructions

  1. Cut loaves into halves lengthwise.
  2. Cut each half into 8 equal pieces, using sharp knife or scissors.
  3. Pierce each piece 2 to 3 times with a fork to remove air bubbles.
  4. Place melted butter in shallow dish.
  5. Combine cheese and seasoning on a plate; put onion on separate plate.
  6. Roll each piece of dough into an 8-inch log. Roll each log in butter, then in desired topping.
  7. On a cookie sheet, bake in preheated oven at 350° until browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with salsa, cheese or desired topping.
