Ingredients

  • 2 (28 oz.) cans baked beans
  • 1 lb. sausage or hamburger
  • 4 to 6 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced

Instructions

  1. Crumble and brown either sausage (Italian) or hamburger. Meat preference depends on how spicy a taste you want. After browning, set aside.
  2. Saut the garlic, onion and pepper until tender. Combine meat, sauteed mixture and beans in a baking dish or bean pot. Bake 30 minutes at 350°. Yield: 10 servings.
