Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
  • ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Caramel Custard Syrup:
  2. Before preparing custard, heat 1/2 cup sugar in a 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Pour mix in cups and let harden, then pour custard mixture.
