Ingredients

  • 3 c. fruit
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Mix fruit with 1 cup sugar; let stand.
  2. Melt butter in baking dish.
  3. Mix sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; add milk.
  4. Pour batter over melted butter.
  5. Pour fruit over batter.
  6. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
