- Cream butter and salt, then add the egg and beat until foamy. In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder and add, alternating with milk, to creamed butter mixture.
- Let stand 30 minutes.
- Drop by spoonfuls into chicken broth or boiling water.
- Cook eight to ten minutes.
- The inside should be dry, not mushy.
- You can half the recipe.
