Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 6 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 slices processed cheese

Instructions

  1. Set the oven thermostat to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks with 6 tablespoons of milk and salt.
  4. In another clean bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the whites.
  6. Melt butter in an ovenproof skillet over medium heat.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook for a few minutes until the edges are set.
  8. Add the cubed processed cheese evenly over the eggs.
  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes until the omelet is puffed and golden.
  10. Serve hot, optionally garnished with herbs.
