Ingredients

  • 1 medium potato
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Pare the potato and cut it into 1/4-inch slices.
  2. Place the sliced potato on a square of heavy-duty foil.
  3. Dot the potato slices with butter.
  4. Sprinkle the prepared onion soup mix over the buttered potato.
  5. Wrap the foil tightly around the potato slices and seal.
  6. Roast the foil-wrapped potato outdoors or in an oven at 375°F for about 45 minutes, or until tender.
