Foolproof Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. dark Karo
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 (9-inch) frozen pie shell

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and butter.
  2. Add Karo and eggs.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Stir in pecans.
  5. Pour mixture into pie shell which has been thawed and pierced with a fork.
  6. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until middle of pie is firm.
