Ingredients

  • 1/2 gal. unpeeled, sliced thin cucumbers
  • 2 or 3 large onions, sliced thin
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle sliced cucumbers and onions with salt.
  2. Let sit for 2 hours.
  3. Combine vinegar, sugar, and black pepper to make the vinegar mixture.
  4. Pack the salted cucumbers and onions into plastic containers.
  5. Pour the vinegar mixture over the cucumbers and onions.
  6. Seal the containers.
  7. Freeze the containers.
  8. Thaw as needed before serving.
