Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed berries
  • 1 box Sure-Jell
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix crushed berries, sugar, and lemon juice; let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Dissolve one box of Sure-Jell in 3/4 cup water; stir well and bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
  3. Combine berry mixture with the Sure-Jell; bring to a hard rolling boil, stirring to blend froth in.
  4. Let stand for 15 minutes, stirring every 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Pour into jars or dishes, leaving 1 inch of space from the top.
  6. Cover and let stand for 24 hours.
  7. Store in the freezer.
