Ingredients

  • 1 Duncan Hines fudge cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) package instant French vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the Duncan Hines fudge cake mix according to the box instructions.
  2. Bake the cake in two 9 x 13-inch pans for 12 minutes.
  3. Let the cakes cool completely.
  4. Mix the instant French vanilla pudding with 1 1/4 cups of milk until thickened.
  5. Fold in Cool Whip into the pudding mixture.
  6. Spread the pudding and Cool Whip mixture between the two cake layers.
  7. Add icing to the top layer of the cake.
  8. Keep the cake refrigerated until ready to serve.
