Fresh Grapefruit Salad

Ingredients
- 6 small grapefruit
- 1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple ⓘ
Instructions
- Scoop out sections of fruit from the grapefruit halves and remove the membranes.
- Drain the grapefruit sections and save the juice.
- Combine the grapefruit juice with the pineapple juice and add enough water to make 5 cups.
- Heat 2 cups of this liquid to dissolve the gelatin.
- Add the rest of the liquid to the fruit and mix well.
- Spoon the mixture into the grapefruit shells or into a shallow pan.
- Refrigerate until the gelatin is firm.
- Serve one shell per person or cut the gelatin into squares and serve on lettuce.
