Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 (3 oz.) package orange gelatin
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 1 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over gelatin in a bowl; stir until dissolved.
  2. Stir in sugar, grated orange peel, and orange juice.
  3. Refrigerate, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon.
  4. In a chilled bowl, beat whipping cream until stiff.
  5. Beat gelatin mixture until foamy.
  6. Fold in whipped cream.
  7. Pour mixture into a 4-cup mold or 6 to 8 dessert dishes or molds.
  8. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.
  9. Unmold onto a serving plate.
