- In a large frying pan, cook all the chiles until black on each side, then cut chiles down the middle and remove all the seeds. Dice chiles very small.
- Put the diced chiles into a large saucepan.
- Chop onions and tomatoes very small.
- Add the chopped onions and tomatoes to the pan with the chiles.
- Add the Pace salsa to the ingredients in the pan.
- Add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, and 1 cup of water to the pan.
- Let simmer for about 1 hour.
- Add about 1 tablespoon of garlic salt.
- Mix all ingredients well before simmering.
