Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 Tbsp. seasoning salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 pint cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a plastic bag and add the seasoning salt.
  2. Shake the bag to evenly coat the chicken.
  3. Pour flour into a shallow dish.
  4. Heat cooking oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Remove chicken from the bag, shaking off excess seasoning.
  6. Dredge the chicken breasts in the flour until well coated.
  7. Carefully place the coated chicken into the hot oil.
  8. Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  9. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.
