Ingredients

  • 1 pt. fresh jalapenos
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 box tempura mix

Instructions

  1. Parboil the jalapenos for 2 or 3 minutes until semi-tender.
  2. Cool the peppers completely.
  3. Slit the sides of the peppers and carefully remove the seeds.
  4. Stuff the grated cheese into the peppers.
  5. Dip the stuffed peppers in tempura batter.
  6. Fry until golden brown.
