Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups softened vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine crushed pineapple, sugar, sour cream, chopped walnuts, lemon juice, and vanilla ice cream.
  2. Spoon the salad evenly into 8 custard cups.
  3. Cover and freeze for 8 hours, or until firm.
  4. Before serving, place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  5. Garnish with pineapple chunks and serve chilled.
