Ingredients

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Tokay grapes, halved and seeded
  • 1 (1 lb 4 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup orange sections
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Soften gelatin in cold water; dissolve over hot water.
  2. Blend the dissolved gelatin into mayonnaise.
  3. Combine Tokay grapes, pineapple chunks, and orange sections in a bowl.
  4. Fold the fruit mixture into the mayonnaise mixture.
  5. Gently fold in whipped cream, slivered almonds, and lemon juice.
  6. Turn the mixture into a 6-cup mold, refrigerator trays, or pineapple cans.
  7. Freeze several hours or overnight until firm.
