Ingredients

  • 1 package marble cake mix
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup Crisco oil
  • 4 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F; grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. Combine the yellow part of the cake mix with the rest of the ingredients: pudding, water, Crisco oil, and eggs.
  3. Mix on low until moistened.
  4. Increase to high speed and beat for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan, reserving 1/4 of the batter.
  6. Mix the reserved batter with the chocolate cake mix and drop by tablespoonfuls on top of the yellow batter.
  7. Swirl the chocolate batter through the yellow with a butter knife, not touching the bottom of the pan.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until the cake springs back when touched or a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then invert onto a serving platter and cool completely.
