Ingredients

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 6 ounces chocolate morsels
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • vanilla wafers
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 2 cups pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine evaporated milk, miniature marshmallows, chocolate morsels, and salt in a saucepan; stir over medium heat until thickened.
  2. Line the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan with vanilla wafers.
  3. Spoon out 1/2 quart of vanilla ice cream over the wafers.
  4. Cover with half of the chocolate mixture.
  5. Repeat with the remaining ice cream and chocolate mixture.
  6. Top with pecans.
  7. Freeze for 3 to 5 hours before serving.
