Ingredients

  • condensed milk
  • vanilla extract
  • morsels
  • walnuts
  • halves

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate and butterscotch morsels with sweetened condensed milk in the top of a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water.
  2. Stir occasionally until morsels and mixture begin to thicken.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add chopped walnuts and vanilla extract.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Chill for 1 hour until mixture thickens.
  7. Line the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan with a 12-inch square of foil.
  8. Place 3/4 cup of walnut halves in the bottom of the pan, forming a 2-inch wide flat ring.
