Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs (one at a time)
  • little less than 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the first 3 ingredients together until creamy, then add eggs one at a time.
  2. Add the next 3 ingredients until all the flour is mixed in.
  3. Add the last 3 ingredients and mix them in. Grease and flour a tube pan.
  4. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
