Ingredients

  • 4 c strawberries, washed and well drained
  • 4 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp strawberry jello

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 cup of water, sugar, and salt to a boil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with remaining water.
  3. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the boiling water mixture and cook until clear.
  4. Remove from heat immediately and add strawberry jello powder, then lemon juice.
  5. Allow the glaze to cool before using.
