Glazed Meat Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • bread crumbs
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
  • 1/2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Mix meat,
  2. eggs,
  3. salt and pepper.
  4. Add bread crumbs to consistency for making meat balls.
  5. Make meat balls.
  6. Brown in frypan.
  7. Cool
  8. and
  9. freeze
  10. until ready to use.
  11. Combine chili sauce, jelly,
  12. lemon
  13. juice
  14. and water.
  15. Pour over meat balls. Bake at
  16. 325°
  17. until heated thoroughly.
  18. If you do not wish to brown meat
  19. balls,
  20. place in casserole; pour sauce over.
  21. Bake at 325°
  22. for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, uncovered.
  23. Makes approximately 40 meat balls.
