Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine water and egg white and beat until frothy but not stiff.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together sugar, salt, and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  4. Pour pecans into the egg white mixture and stir with a large serving spoon until the nuts are evenly coated.
  5. Add the sugar mixture to the pecans and stir until well combined.
  6. Spread the mixture on a large cookie sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  7. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, including after the last 15 minutes.
  8. Pour the glazed pecans onto waxed paper to cool.
  9. Store in an airtight container.
