- Line ungreased jelly roll pan (not a cookie sheet) with square graham crackers.
- Melt oleo with brown sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes; remove from heat.
- Stir in chopped nuts.
- Pour mixture over graham crackers and spread until all are covered.
- Bake at 325° for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Watch carefully; do not brown.
- Top should bubble up well.
- Cut into bars (1/2 square) while still warm and remove to cooling rack. These freeze well and seem to disappear just as they come from the freezer without thawing.
