Ingredients

  • 1 chuck roast
  • 6 large potatoes
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 loaf French bread

Instructions

  1. Cut the chuck roast into pieces.
  2. Lightly flour the meat and fry in a pan until browned.
  3. Place the fried meat in a skillet or wok and cover with water.
  4. Add paprika and cayenne pepper to the water.
  5. Cook on low heat for 2 hours.
  6. Thirty minutes before serving, add the cut-up potatoes.
  7. Serve hot with French bread for dipping, and add more cayenne if you desire more heat.
