Green Beans Baked

Ingredients

  • 2 cans green beans
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt or powder
  • 1/2 c. skim milk
  • 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. grated low-fat cheese
  • 1 c. crushed Ritz crackers

Instructions

  1. Place beans and garlic powder in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Drain.
  4. Stir together milk and mushroom soup. Alternate layers of beans, soup and cheese.
  5. Begin with beans and end with cheese.
  6. Top with crackers.
  7. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
  8. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
