Ingredients

  • 3 medium avocados, halved and pitted
  • 1 14 teaspoons minced serrano chilies, seeded
  • 34 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 2 14 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 14 tablespoons diced red onions
  • 1 lime
  • 34 teaspoon oregano, crushed
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Scoop the avocado out of the skin into a bowl.
  2. Coarsely mash with fork or potato masher.
  3. Add all other ingredients except the lime juice.
  4. Lightly blend - authentic guac is chunky, not pureed.
  5. Squeeze in lime juice, mix gently and taste for seasoning adjustments.
