- Beat butter and cheese in a medium size bowl.
- When creamy, stir in flour, salt and onion soup mix.
- Mix well and then turn out and roll into a cylinder about 9 inches long and 2 inches in diameter.
- Wrap in waxed paper and chill 1 hour or longer.
- (Dough also may be frozen, then thaw enough to slice.)
