Ingredients

  • 3 lb. hamburger
  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • onion to taste
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 large heads cabbage
  • tomato soup or ketchup or tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked rice, hamburger, onion, salt and pepper.
  2. Place cabbage in very hot water to loosen leaves.
  3. Fill leaves with rice-hamburger mixture.
  4. Fold shut.
  5. Place in roaster, folded side down.
  6. Cover with desired tomato mixture.
  7. Bake in a 325° oven about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
