Ham 'N Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 c. ham, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. oil or margarine
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Saute onion in oil or margarine.
  2. Add ham and saute, then add rice.
  3. Stir for a few minutes.
  4. Add the liquids; bring to a boil. Stir.
  5. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add frozen peas.
  7. Stir. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes, then serve.
