Hamburger Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 4 green peppers, cut into eighths lengthwise

Instructions

  1. Shape meat into 6 oval steaks.
  2. Brown lightly in a large skillet. Top steaks with green peppers. Cover.
  3. Cook over medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes or to desired doneness and peppers are still crisp. Makes 6 servings.
