Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, sugar, salt and soda into a bowl.
  2. Put water, cocoa and oleo in pan and bring to a boil.
  3. Add all at once to sugar and flour mixture.
  4. Mix well. Add vanilla.
  5. Add eggs and sour cream.
  6. Mix well. Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 375° for 22 to 25 minutes.
