- Beat eggs until light and lemon colored.
- Gradually beat in sugar; add extract.
- Sift in flour and salt; lastly add the melted butter.
- Mix well.
- Pour into a nonstick or greased and floured cake pan (one layer cake pan will do).
- Sprinkle the nuts or coconut.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Cool in the pan.
