Hawaiian Broiled Scallops

Ingredients

  • 24 small scallops
  • 24 pineapple wedges
  • 24 strips bacon
  • 6 slices buttered toast

Instructions

  1. Place a scallop and a pineapple wedge at opposite ends of each strip of bacon.
  2. Roll the bacon strips toward the center so that the scallops and pineapple are wrapped in bacon.
  3. Place 2 bacon-wrapped scallops and pineapple wedges on skewers.
  4. Broil until the bacon is crisp, about 10 minutes, turning to brown on all sides.
  5. Remove the skewers carefully and place 2 on each slice of buttered toast.
