Ingredients

  • 5 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 3 Tbsp. warm water
  • 2 1/2 c. buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Cut in Crisco; add buttermilk and yeast mixture.
  3. You don't need to let them rise.
  4. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
  5. Store remainder of dough in airtight container.
  6. You can take dough out of refrigerator and cook.
  7. Will keep up to 2 weeks.
  8. Cook at 400°
  9. until done.
