Ingredients

  • 1 (4 to 6 lb.) hen, skin and fat removed
  • Mrs. Dash seasoning

Instructions

  1. Season the hen with Mrs. Dash seasoning to taste before cooking.
  2. Cook the hen until tender, then cool and remove from bones.
  3. Line a baking dish with biscuit dough, either rolled thin or pressed with fingers, overlapping slightly.
  4. Add the boned chicken and enough broth to keep the meat and bread moist.
  5. Cover the top with biscuits prepared the same way as the crust.
  6. Bake at 400° to 450°F until golden brown, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
