- 1 (4 to 6 lb.) hen, skin and fat removed
- Mrs. Dash seasoning ⓘ
Instructions
- Season the hen with Mrs. Dash seasoning to taste before cooking.
- Cook the hen until tender, then cool and remove from bones.
- Line a baking dish with biscuit dough, either rolled thin or pressed with fingers, overlapping slightly.
- Add the boned chicken and enough broth to keep the meat and bread moist.
- Cover the top with biscuits prepared the same way as the crust.
- Bake at 400° to 450°F until golden brown, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
