Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 5 cups boiling water
  • 2/3 cup sour cream or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in 2 1/2 cups boiling water.
  2. Pour the strawberry gelatin mixture into a 6-cup ring pan.
  3. Chill until set, but not firm, about 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Chill remaining gelatin in a bowl; gradually blend in 1/3 cup sour cream.
  5. Spoon the sour cream mixture over the gelatin in the mold.
  6. Chill until set but not firm, about 15 minutes.
  7. Repeat the procedure using lime gelatin, remaining 2 1/2 cups boiling water, and 1/3 cup sour cream.
  8. Chill the assembled gelatin for 2 hours until fully set.
  9. Unmold the gelatin ring before serving.
