  • salt to taste
  • melted butter or sweet cream (1 Tbsp. to the qt.)

Instructions

  1. Place the utensil with ingredients in a pan of hot water and heat until the curd separates.
  2. Do not boil the mixture.
  3. When the mixture gets too hot, it becomes tough.
  4. Work in salt and melted butter or sweet cream.
  5. Drain the mixture to collect the curds.
