Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup whole cloves
  • 1/2 lemon, halved
  • 1/2 orange, halved
  • 1 quart water

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a tea kettle or saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer as long as desired.
  4. Check often and add water as needed.
