Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 to 1 c. strawberries, cut in half
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. raspberries
  • 1/2 c. blackberries or blueberries
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Heat sugar and water
  2. in small saucepan. Add strawberries and cook slowly for 5 minutes. Add butter and lemon juice.
  3. Add raspberries and blackberries. Transfer immediately to bowls and add a scoop of ice cream.
  4. Serve at once. Serves 2.
  5. Can double easily.
