Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. heated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until lemon-color, add sugar.
  2. Beat until like marshmallow.
  3. Add flour.
  4. Melt butter in milk and add.
  5. Add vanilla, salt and baking powder last.
  6. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  7. After baking, remove cake.
  8. Take 1 stick butter or margarine and run over top of cake.
  9. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar or 10x sugar.
